AFPLC Financial Literacy Wing is dedicated to promoting financial literacy and knowledge among individuals from all walks of life. Financial literacy involves understanding financial matters and services to make impactful decisions for personal and societal well-being. It includes knowledge of savings, borrowing, financial products, entrepreneurship, the financial system, payment systems, and consumer protection. Financial literacy initiatives primarily target individuals in Tier 1 demographics, as per the Bangladesh Bank guidelines, and will be sustained for up to three years. The target groups include farmers, low-income individuals, students, entrepreneurs, women, and migrant workers. These efforts aim to equip individuals with essential financial skills and knowledge to promote financial stability and economic growth within the specified timeframe. Through our comprehensive programs and activities, we aim to equip individuals with the essential skills and understanding needed to use formal financial channels for availing financial services.
